The Village of Virginia Gardens announced on social media that former Virginia Gardens Police Department Officer, Danny Garcia, passed away over the weekend. Here’s the statement from the Village:
“It is with tremendous sadness that we have to report that former VGPD officer Danny Garcia passed away over the weekend. He faithfully served our Village from Sept. 2016 to July 2018, before moving on to the Medley Police Department. He was a diligent and thoughtful officer. Danny had a subtle sense of humor that could get even some of the most serious people to laugh. We are grateful for the privilege of getting to know him while he was here and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”
