Agustin Rodriguez was arrested this week by Miami Springs Police and charged with:
- Kidnapping with a weapon, firearm or aggravated battery
- Burglary with Assault or Battery
- Aggravated Battery
- Strong Armed Robbery
- Witness Tampering
- Criminal Mischief
According to WPLG Local 10, Rodriguez is alleged to have broken into a hotel room at the Miami Springs Red Roof Inn on LeJeune Road in where his girlfriend was staying. He is accused of physically attacking the woman violently and then dragging her out of the room.
Fortunately, the woman was able to yell for help and draw attention according to the WPLG report. Miami Springs Police responded to the scene and were able to quickly locate Rodriguez and place him under arrest. He’s currently booked at TGK.
