According to @TradedMiami, Miami Regional University purchased the one story office building located at 4349 NW 36th Street in Miami Springs for $2.5 Million.

We are encouraged by this transaction as it appears that Miami Regional University is expanding from its current campus at the old Eastern Credit Union Building located at 700 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard.
Furthermore, this is the kind of expansion and usage along NW 36th Street that is congruent with what many Miami Springs residents want to see. Residents aren’t crazy about hotels thanks to the associated hotel crimes. Residents have expressed disinterest in high density housing.

Miami Regional University provides jobs, training, and opportunities to the Miami Springs community. We don’t have a history of any negative stories or crime coming from this educational center.
That being said, we don’t know if Miami Regional University will redevelop this property or simply repurpose it for educational and/or administrative purposes.
