Before the regular council business commenced on Monday, a special, standing-room-only presentation took place from 6:15 PM to 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers. The Miami Springs Police Department officially welcomed four newly appointed police officers to the force in a joint swearing-in ceremony.
The newest members of the MSPD are:
- Oliver Felipe
- Reuel Bowen
- Arturo Morales
- Christopher Kendrick
Family members, friends, and fellow MSPD officers filled the chambers to celebrate as the new officers took their oaths. The additions represent a significant boost to local law enforcement, ensuring Miami Springs maintains its reputation as one of the safest and most vigilant bedroom communities in Miami-Dade County.
