Elizabeth Hernandez is facing first degree murder charges for the death of Jason Durrell Anderson at a Miami Springs Holiday Inn hotel room back on June 20th.
According to NBC 6, the Miami Springs Police Department had responded to an incident at the Holiday Inn located at 1111 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard on June 20th. According to the report a 43-year-old male identified as Jason Durrell Anderson was found unresponsive and naked under the bed in room 420.
According to Local 10, the deceased victim’s death was determined to be caused from “homicidal violence.” The report goes on to describe “injuries that included blunt force trauma, lacerations, bite marks and neck hemorrhaging.”
The reports indicate that the victim, Jason Durrell Anderson, entered the Holiday Inn hotel room with the alleged murder suspect, Elizabeth Hernandez, and another man identified by Local 10 as Yoan Guzman-Zequeira, 41.
Surveillance video then captures Hernandez and Guzman-Zequeira leaving the hotel room the next morning, sans the victim.
Hernandez also stands accused of using the victim’s credit card soon after leaving the hotel.
According to Miami-Dade Corrections, Elizabeth Hernandez is facing the following charges:
- 1st Degree Murder
- 3rd Degree Grand Theft
- Credit Card Fraud
- 3rd Degree Grand Theft Auto
