Nicholas Leonardi was arrested Thursday, June 10, 2021, for allegedly entering an occupied home located in the 200 block of Minola Drive. According to the Miami Springs Police Department, Leonardi entered through an unlocked front door of the house. After entering the home, Leonardi was confronted by the female homeowner when she found him looking around the living room. The male homeowner then confronted Leonardi and forced him out of the house. After expelling the man from the home, the male homeowner called the police. Miami Springs police responded and caught Leonardi a few houses down. Leonardi was charged with Burglary with Assault and Resisting an Officer without Violence.
