A new hotel and parking garage has been proposed to take up two empty lots near the existing Wyndham Garden Hotel.
The empty lot immediately adjacent to the Wyndham Garden and NW 36th Street will be used for the new hotel. While the lot behind the NW 36TH Street Circle-K gas station will be used for a parking garage.
The hotel is proposed as an Extended Stay facility with a total of 133 rooms. The hotel will feature a fitness room, common laundry, and co-working spaces. It will also include eight suites that feature 2 bedrooms.
As you can see in the photos, the hotel will feature an aerodynamic inspired design dubbed “Streamline Moderne.”
The parking garage will not be that tall at just two stories providing ground floor and 2nd floor parking.
The Pilot House Suites will hopefully attract pilots and other airline workers who need an extended stay in Miami. We also hope it generates minimal calls to our police department as the hotels along NW 36th Street and LeJeune have been a consistent drain on our small police department.
