The Miami Springs City Council approved a resolution on Monday night, September 14, 2026, to formally co-designate a portion of Oakwood Drive in recognition of the city’s partnership with one of the region’s largest professional associations.
The approved resolution co-designates the section of Oakwood Drive between South Royal Poinciana Boulevard and Kenmore Drive as “Miami Realtors Way.” This specific stretch of roadway directly fronts the brand-new, state-of-the-art Miami Realtors Global Headquarters located at 1800 Oakwood Drive.
Council members highlighted the significance of having the Miami Association of Realtors choose Miami Springs for their world-class corporate headquarters. The co-designation serves to honor the organization’s substantial long-term economic investment in the city, its commitment to local community outreach, and its active collaboration with the municipality on commercial and residential development standards.
The physical installation of the co-designation street signs will take place in the coming weeks, celebrating a milestone addition to the Miami Springs commercial corridor.
