A member of the official Miami Springs Community Group on Facebook posted the following video showing suspects attempting to open unlocked cars in a residential parking lot. According to the member, the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in the area of 421 Swallow Drive, directly behind Bella’s Bakery and Roman’s Pizza.
According to the individual, the suspects were “unsuccessful” in gaining access to any of the parked vehicles.
This is a reminder that vehicular burglary is one of the most common crimes within Miami Springs. Always lock your car and never leave valuables inside of them.
