Tax Increase Approved

On Monday, September 24th, the Miami Springs City Council approved a property tax increase of 9.66% raising the millage rate from 6.9950 to 7.6710.

The final vote was 4 to 1. Windrem, Lob, Petralanda, and Garcia voted in favor of the budget. Former Mayor, Billy Bain, was the lone dissenting vote.
