We recently sat down with long time Miami Springs City Councilman, Jaime Petralanda, and discussed his bid to run for Miami-Dade County School Board. Councilman Petralanda has to resign to run for Miami-Dade County School Board, but informed us that he wanted to stay on the Council to work through the annual budget process. He indicated the 2021 budget will be one of the toughest thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic.
