Florida State Senator (and Miami Springs resident) Bryan Avila announced $1.55 million in secured funding for The Village of Virginia Gardens.

The funding package includes:

  • $1.2 million to upgrade aging water mains
  • $350,000 for roadway improvements

Senator Avila also praised the work of State Representative Alex Rizo when he posted the following statement on social media:

I am proud to have worked with @teamalexrizo to secure $1,200,000 for the upgrade of aged water mains and $350,000 for roadway improvements in the @villageofvirginiagardens. This state funding, along with prior investments in infrastructure, will provide our residents with a tangible long-term benefit and continue to prioritize their quality of life.

Village officials expressed their appreciation for the state funding, which will help address long-term infrastructure needs while supporting the continued growth and well-being of the community.
