At a recent Council Meeting, Miami Springs Police Officer, Jorge Capote highlighted the elephant in the Miami Springs budget: The incredible losses that have built up operating the Miami Springs Golf and Country Club. According to Jorge Capote`s findings, it was $8.88 Million.

That`s an average of over $600,000 lost each year since 2000.

In her report, she highlights the glorious past of the golf course, but points to former director Michael Aldridge as a possible source of some of the financial troubles.
