Remember when Francis Suarez was the only person with COVID-19 in Miami-Dade County? Yeah, that didn’t last long. We now have 101 cases confirmed with COVID-19 in Miami-Dade County…at least that’s the county as of 6pm on March 19th per the Florida Department of Health.
Today, Miami-Dade County surpassed Broward County with the highest number of cases within the State of Florida.
Here are the counts as of 6pm:
- Miami-Dade County: 101 cases
- Broward County: 96 cases
- Palm Beach County: 29 cases
In other words, the tri-county area has 226 out of the State of Florida’s 432 cases or just over half of all the cases. Miami-Dade alone represents 23% of all cases. And I think we all expect it’s going to get a whole lot worse as testing expands.
If you believe the numbers coming from China, Italy has surpassed China for the total number of deaths. (Editor’s note: We don’t trust numbers from communist countries like Cuba or China. They have a long history of lying. Why should we believe them now?)
DEATHS:
- italy: 3,405 deaths
- China: 3,132 deaths (supposedly)
- Iran: 1,284 deaths
- Spain: 833 deaths
- France: 243 deaths
- USA: 205 deaths
