The Glenn Curtiss Look-A-Like Competition was a serious affair. All the contests came dressed appropriately and looked the part. But the clear winner was the little 3 year old boy dressed up like Glenn Curtiss. He was definitely the crowd favorite.
However, the American ingenuity that drove Glenn Curtiss lives on today. This Glenn Curtiss showed up with a full sized plane affixed to an adult tricycle. While all the Glenn Curtiss’ looked sharp, and trust me, it was hard to pick the winner, you have to give it up for the guy who showed up with a full sized plane.
