The Miami Springs Senior High Golden Hawks varsity football team faced one of their toughest challenges of the 2026 season on Saturday night, October 3, dropping a tough 34–0 district matchup to the powerhouse Miami Central Rockets.
The highly anticipated District 3A-16 conference matchup took place under the stadium lights at Adidas Field at Traz Powell Stadium. Known for their explosive athleticism and relentless defense, the Rockets put on a formidable performance, securing a shutout victory over the Golden Hawks.
