Miami Springs has always been a desirable place to live thanks to its central location, quiet streets, and close knit community. We have also had a wonderful track record of great schools to choose from. But don’t take our word for it. The Florida Department of Education just published its annual report of schools throughout the entire state. And Miami Springs is loaded with top scoring “A” Schools. Let’s look at the results.
SPRINGVIEW ELEMENTARY
Springview Elementary once again scored an A cementing it as one of the best elementary schools, not only in Miami Springs, but across Miami-Dade County. Furthermore, Springview Elementary has consistently scored an A since 2011. That’s 14 years of being an A school right here in beautiful Miami Springs. Congratulations to the Springview Elementary family including the teachers, staff, administration, students, and parents that all contribute to this wonderful record.
ISAAC ACADEMY
ISAAC Academy is a Charter School located on Westward Drive. ISAAC stands for Integrated Science and Asian Culture. The school has consistently ranked among the best scoring perfect A’s ever since the State of Florida included the school in its annual evaluation in 2014. The consistent performance doesn’t happen by accident. The entire team at ISAAC Academy should be lauded for holding such high standards.
MIAMI SPRINGS ELEMENTARY
Miami Springs has great school choice options as Miami Springs Elementary also ranked as an A school. This marks the second time in the last three years that Miami Springs Elementary ranks as an “A” school. Great job to the teachers, staff, and administration for achieving such high standards.
AIE CHARTER SCHOOL
AIE Charter School (aka Academy for Innovative Education) is a Miami-Dade Charter School that provides K-12 education on a single campus right here in Miami Springs. The school (which is undergoing an expansion) has once again ranked as an A school. That marks straight A’s for the last three years. Hard works pays off for this team of teachers and administration. AIE Charter School is located at 1080 LaBaron Drive, across the street from Stafford Park and adjacent to Miami Springs Middle School.
MIAMI SPRINGS SENIOR HIGH
MSSH or Miami Springs Senior High is a legendary high school within South Florida with a storied past in both sports and academics. After 12 years, the school can once again proudly proclaim to be an A school! This is credit to the hard working and creative team of teachers, faculty, and students for making MSSH one of the best schools in the county again.
MIAMI SPRINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL
Miami Springs Middle School was the only major public or charter school in Miami Springs that did not receive an A. MSMS was ranked a C school for the 8th time since 2014. The last time MSMS scored an A was back in 2006. The school has a great faculty and administration that is working hard to make improvements. Nevertheless, Miami Springs Middle School has had some difficult challenges that are not easy to overcome.
GREAT PLACE TO RAISE A FAMILY
Bottom line: 5 out of 6 of the major public or charter schools in Miami Springs ranked as an A school. That means the parents who live in Miami Springs have amazing choices for their kids without ever leaving the community. It’s just another reason why Miami Springs is the best place to raise a family in Miami-Dade County.
