High school students in Miami Springs are being invited to take part in an exciting opportunity to step inside local government through Virtutem Populo’s Youth Governance Day 2026.
This program places students directly into real roles within city government, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in how their community operates. Participants will engage with city leaders, explore civic responsibilities, and develop leadership skills in a hands-on environment.
Key highlights of the program include the chance to serve as “Mayor for a Day,” immersive civic experience, and direct access to local officials and public leaders. Youth Governance Day is designed to inspire the next generation of leaders by giving them a deeper understanding of public service and community involvement.
