The beloved Miami Springs restaurant, Jr’s Gourmet Burgers, has closed the doors of its Miami Springs restaurant after serving our community for 11 wonderful years. Thank you Jr’s Burgers for being a wonderful part of our community over the last decade.
The restaurant posted the following message to social media:
“Today is the 11 year anniversary of JR’s and it is somewhat poetic that it’s the last day we will be open as well. We have decided to make the difficult decision to close the doors to the Miami Springs location to customers as of today.
Due to the recent staff shortage, the effects of the pandemic on the business, along with other factors… we will be moving to a new location that has been in the works for some time. Please follow us on all social media for updates on the move and opening details.
We appreciate that customers who have made JR’s what it is and will continue on to be! You are part of the JR’s family and we love you. Watch out for your JR’s burger fix coming back to you soon.”
Jr’s Gourmet Burgers has won many awards including the 2015 Burger Brawl People’s choice, the 2016 Hamburger House Party People’s Choice, the 2017 SOBE Wine and Food Festival Burger Bash People’s Choice, the 2018 Burgerlicious People’s Choice, and the 2020 Burgerlicious People’s Choice. In Miami Springs it was ranked as one of the Top 10 Restaurants in Miami Springs.
