Congratulations to Miami Springs Senior High School’s Golden Players who won a Superior Award Trophy for their one act play Lafayette No.1 by Mandy Conner at the 2025 Dade County Thespian Festival! Rubi Piloto won the All Star Cast Award for Acting, and Claudia Hernandez won the All Star Cast Award for singing.
The Miami Springs Thespians also competed in the Individual Events Festival and brought home eight Superior Awards and four Excellent Awards.
Claudia Hernandez and Evelyn Veliz won Top Honors for their performance in a duet scene from The House of Bernarda Alba. Rubi Piloto and Valeria Torrealba won the Betsey Kaplan Scholarship for students who pursue careers in theatre arts!
Unwrap the holiday season with The Golden Players dazzling holiday musical play on December 17, at 3 pm and 6 pm in the MSSH Little Theatre! Tickets are $10.00 and are available at the door.
