A week after being attacked while canvassing in Hialeah, Christopher Monzon was out of the hospital and at a Political Rally this past weekend on Curtiss Parkway in Miami Springs.

At the rally, Monzon stated: “Whether they are a Republican or a Democrat, it doesn’t matter who they are. This should be prevented.  We should take this as a moment to focus on what happened and say…You know what…this was wrong. Political violence is wrong.  We’re seeing it explode across the country.  We have to stop this.”

Marco Rubio Responds to Media

Marco Rubio reacted to the media’s attack on the victim.  Rubio stated: “It’s disgusting how since Monday, some in local South Florida media have been justifying the brutal beating of a GOP canvasser by smearing the victim over past views he has rejected and now regrets.”

The good news is that the two alleged attackers were arrested by police.
