Marjorie Lois (Hullen) Reed, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 at the age of 94 in Orlando, Florida. Marjorie was born in Brooklyn, New York Sept 17, 1930. At the age of 19 she and her family moved to Miami Springs. She met her future husband while attending the youth group at Miami Springs Presbyterian church and they were married in the original chapel in 1950. Shortly after that they built their house on Palmetto Drive where they raised their family for over 60 years.
Marjorie originally worked at Hialeah Hospital as a nursing assistant in the emergency room. In the early 1970’s and 80’s she worked at Miami Springs High School as a teachers aide.
She was preceded in death by her husband George William Reed Jr. She leaves behind four children, William Reed, Nancy Reed, Pam Lunsford, and Martha (Matthew) Norato. She also leaves six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A family grave side service will be performed at a later date where she will be layed to rest with her husband at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
