Local media is reporting of an accident that occurred on Thursday, August 1st involving a Miami Springs Police Interceptor SUV and a dark sedan. Initial reports have not established who was at fault.
According to the City of Miami Springs, Police Officer Eric Heffner was released from the hospital last night and is in good condition.
The accident occurred at the intersection of LaBaron and Minola Drive.
