This Thursday at 3:00PM, Parents, Teachers, & Students of Springview Elementary will meet near the Miami Springs Baptist / Presbyterian Church to march down Westward towards the Circle and along Curtiss Parkway wearing black shirts sending a message to Governor Charlie Crist and the Miami Springs Community to veto Senate Bill 6. Residents are invited to join the Miami Springs teachers and help them encourage… the Miami Springs Community to join forces and email or call Governor Crist and let him know how Miami Springs feels before Friday.
NOTE: Thursday`s march is an after school event. School will not be interrupted. Despite much angst amongst the teachers, Springview Elementary had one of the highest attendance rates amongst all Miami-Dade Public Schools this past Monday, proving once again, that our Miami Springs teachers are amongst the finest and most professional teachers anywhere.
