Normalcy returned this past Monday as kids went back to school throughout Miami-Dade County.
The speed zones are back in effect. The school buses are running. Parents line up for the drop off and pick up. Traffic is definitely busier. Kids are back to lugging their backpacks and bringing home their homework. (That part, nobody likes.)
At SpringView Elementary, it was all smiles as young Sebastian gets ready for 1st grade:
As for parents, you could see them busy at the Miami Springs Office Depot, shopping for the specific supplies provided by the teachers on the first day of school. Office Depot, to its credit, was well staffed and moved the busy line quickly.
