State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle hosted an Awards Ceremony to honor their Human Trafficking Unit and Task Force team members, law enforcement officers, personnel, and support staff of various law enforcement agencies and community partners, for their outstanding recovery efforts and services provided to the victims of human trafficking before and throughout ā€œOperation Outside Trackā€ during the recent Formula One/Miami Grand Prix Event.

Collective efforts were invaluable to this operation. Miami Springs Police Department worked in conjunction with the assistance of the South Miami PD, Doral PD, Coral Gables PD, Miami Beach PD, Miami Gardens PD, and Miami PD, which resulted in 65 arrests, the recovery of 3 firearms, the rescue of 6 victims, and receipt of 53 calls to the Office of the State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Hotline. Way to go everyone!
