Recently, a great example of “See Something, Say Something” played out in Miami Springs. A vigilant resident noticed two males acting suspiciously in the bird section and immediately alerted the Miami Springs Police. Thanks to the quick action of our community member, officers were able to locate and detain the suspects within minutes.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the suspects had entered a resident’s backyard and stolen a bicycle. Both individuals were arrested on burglary and theft charges.
We are incredibly grateful to our watchful residents. This incident is a reminder of the importance of staying alert and working together to keep Miami Springs safe. Hand in hand, we make our city the best place to live!
