Recently, the students from the Prologis Trade and Logistics Academy in Miami Springs got a chance to experience the real deal when it comes to STEM careers. The academy took a group of 30 female students to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) for a fun and informative “Women in STEM” event.

The goal of the trip was to show these young women the awesome opportunities available to them in STEM fields and to encourage them to consider careers in these industries. The UTI team was amazing, giving the students a hands-on look at all the different programs they offer – from automotive to diesel, marine to motorcycle, aviation maintenance, and even welding!

One of the best parts of the visit was the chance for the students to see all the different post-secondary options available to them. With so many options, they were able to make informed decisions about their future and see the potential for growth and success in STEM fields.

The Prologis Trade and Logistics Academy is all about empowering young people and promoting diversity in STEM careers. This trip to UTI was a huge step in that direction and the students had an amazing time. They got a chance to see what their future could look like and were inspired to pursue their passions.
