We are not out of the woods.  Despite more and more people getting the vaccine, we’re seeing increases in COVID cases, locally, and statewide.

As you can see, the statewide fatality rate is at 1.7%.

STAY SAFE

Folks, effective on Monday, April 5th, 2021, anyone 18 years old or older can get the COVID-19 vaccine.  The more people who get vaccinated, the sooner we can reach herd immunity and put COVID-19 in the history books.

If you are a senior, diabetic, overweight, or have any other condition that makes you more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus, you should be doing everything possible to get the vaccine.

Folks, let’s take care of each other.  Wear a mask.  Practice social distancing.  And get the vaccine if you can.

God bless you all and have a happy Easter!
