As you`ve probably noticed driving around the Circle, the old concrete curb on the Circle was removed and replaced with a new concrete curb. According to an article by Theo Karantsalis in The Miami Herald, the project cost came in at $194,978.32. It includes:
▪ Curbing: $33,520
▪ Asphalt: $127,463.32.
▪ Lane striping: $20,000.
▪ Sidewalk replacements: $13,995.
According to the article, the purpose was to add more wheelchair access to disabled people.
