The Blessed Trinity Community came out in force last Saturday, June 5, 2021, to thank Father Alfaro for all he has done for the Blessed Trinity Parish and the Miami Springs Community.  The special farewell mass was held outdoors in the Parish field in order to accommodate the huge crowd and retain a COVID safe environment.  (As we have learned, it’s very difficult to spread COVID-19 in outdoor environments.).

Father Alfaro was also presented with a plaque from the City of Miami Springs in recognition for all that he’s done for our community.

Priests from our Parish and other parishes also attended the event to honor Father Alfaro.

We’d like to thank Father Alfaro for all that he has done for our community.  He transitioned us from a difficult time when we lost our beloved Father Carney.

Father Alfaro also spearheaded the movement to bring Christ to all.  That included going virtual and providing access to virtual mass services during the COVID-19 pandemic.  He would also bike to the homes of parish members and bring the word of Christ to their homes.

Father Alfaro did an amazing job for our small Parish.  Now, he’ll be taking on an even bigger Parish in Kendall.

We wish Father Alfaro the best as he moves on to the next chapter in his commitment to Christ.  Thank you and God Bless You.
