We reported last week on the effort by Mayor Walter Fajet to add trees to the open green spaces located just west of the clay pits between Lenape and Hammond Drive along Dove Avenue.  This came after residents were alarmed after seeing several county officials meeting with the mayor at an on-site visit of the open lots.

Per the Mayor, the City of Miami Springs will be allowed to plant trees that conform with the requirements of both Miami-Dade Water and Sewer and Florida Power and Light.  With that being said, we decided to come up with some visuals to see what the area might look like with additional trees.

We uploaded some existing photography and asked AI to enhance it with oak trees, royal poincianas, and palm trees.

We absolutely love what an enhanced tree canopy can do to this open space.

But, it’s not what we think that matters.  What do you think?
