We had 3 incidents of residential Breaking and Entering during the month of December. One occurred in the 1000 block of Plover. One occurred in the 500 block of Curtiss Parkway. And the other occurred on the 600 block of South royal Poinciana Boulevard. That`s up from just one residential burglary in November, but down from the four reported incidents in October according to CrimeReports.com.
The most common crime continues to be vehicular burglary with 13 incidents in December. That`s one less than the 14 vehicle break ins during the month of November. However, unlike November`s vehicle break ins that were mostly along LeJeune and 36 street, we had a number of vehicle break ins in the residential areas of Miami Springs. (Lock your cars people and don`t leave valuables inside.)
There were 3 reported cases of actual cars stolen in December compared to 4 stolen vehicles in November.
Standing out in the report is the case of a Bomb Threat that occurred December 3rd at the 300 block of North Royal Poinciana Boulevard. That`s the block with Siamo`s Pizza on one side and Poinciana United Methodist Church on the other.
