The 2026 Miami Springs River Cities Regatta is less than 60 days away and there are so many exciting things coming to this year’s festival. Here’s just a small taste:
Children’s World
The mechanical carnival rides are back. It won’t just be bounce houses. There will a fun house, plus mechanical carnival rides the kids will LOVE.
The petting zoo, a kids favorite, won’t be on Canal Street. Instead it’ll be near Children’s World where the kids want to be anyways.
There will also be rock climbing and a mechanical bull for the adventurous.
Kids Fishing Tournament
We are so excited to share that the Fishing Tournament is back in 2026. It’s a FREE event open to kids between 5 and 17 years of age. The fish must be caught and maintained alive. The fish must be transported to the Regatta where there will be a large fish tank housing all the caught fish.
This is a great opportunity to introduce small children to the joys of fishing. And a great excuse for the local kids who already love to fish to show off their angler skills.
Pet Parade
There’s going to be a super fun PET PARADE. More details will be coming, but it’s going to be fun to see residents take their pets through a stroll around downtown Miami Springs.
