ALERT: DATE CHANGES
The City of Miami Springs just announced the dates are changing for the FEMA COVID-19 Vaccines. Instead of starting on Wednesday, March 10th, the vaccines will start on Thursday, March 11th. They will still be held at the Miami Springs Rec Center between 9am – 5pm. The vaccines remain free. The vaccinations will conclude on March 17, 2021.
Here’s who’s eligible:
- Healthcare workers with direct patient contact – 18+
- K-12 School Staff – 18+
- Long term facility residents and staff – 18+
- Law enforcement officers and firefighters – 50+
- Individuals with extreme vulnerability to COVID-19 (with attached form signed by physician)
- Seniors 65 and older
- No appointment needed
- Walkups allowed
