By all accounts, it was a great season. Your Miami Springs Senior High Golden Hawks Baseball Team were the 2026 District Champions. They went on to become Regional Champions.
Then, they headed to the State Championships in Fort Myers. Could the Golden Hawks defend their State Championship for the ultra rare, back to back State Championships?
Unfortunately, the answer was no.
The Golden Hawks fell to the South Walton Seahawks by a score of 6-2. This was a rematch of last year’s finals where the Hawks prevailed against South Walton.
While it’s always disappointing to lose, we’re all proud of the Golden Hawks defense of the 2025 Championship and one heckuva season in 2026.
The good news, the Hawks are setup for another great run in 2027.
