Join us on Saturday, March 15, at Burritoville (61 Curtiss Parkway) to honor the legacy of Officer Charles B. Stafford. Enjoy a meal while supporting the Charles B. Stafford Memorial, an inspiring Eagle Scout Project led by Danny Iglesias of Troop 334, dedicated to preserving Officer Stafford’s memory and sacrifice.
Danny Iglesias, a high school junior and Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 334, is dedicating his Eagle Scout project to honor Miami Springs Police Officer Charles “Bubba” Brian Stafford. Officer Stafford was the first and only officer in the community to lose his life in the line of duty.
To create a lasting tribute, Danny is building a memorial at Stafford Park, which will include:
- A handcrafted wooden park entrance sign
- A monument with a bronze plaque
- Benches, flagpoles, thoughtful lighting, and landscape design
This project is more than just a memorial—it’s a space for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
