According to a report from WPLG Local 10, Geraldo Ulises Camellon-Fernandez was arrested on Curtiss Parkway on Wednesday, February 19th for allegedly stealing a Mercedes Benz from Miami International Airport.
But that’s not all. According to the report, Camellon-Fernandez allegedly used the stolen Mercedes to follow a woman that was driving a GMC from the airport and down westbound NW 36th Street. That’s where Miami Springs Police spotted the Mercedes driving with “aggressive maneuvers.”
According to the report, the Springs officer attempted to pull over the Mercedes, but the driver failed to pull over.
The female victim in the GMC was till being pursued along Curtiss Parkway. That’s when she decided to pull over along the 500 block of Curtiss Parkway.
Finally, the Mercedes pulled over with MSPD right behind. That’s where Miami Springs Police were able to get Camellon-Fernandez out of the vehicle and into custody.
According to Miami-Dade Corrections, Camellon-Fernandez was charged with:
- Armed Grand Theft Auto
- Aggravated Stalking
- Fleeing / Eluding Police with Lights and Sirens
Geraldo Ulises Camellon-Fernandez was transferred nearby to TGK.
