Miami Springs, FL — The City of Miami Springs is pleased to announce that the Miami Springs Police Department has been awarded $500,000 in federal funding through the Community Project Funding (CPF) program. This critical investment was secured by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart as part of the Fiscal Year 2026 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
The funding will support the department’s Marked Fleet Modernization Project, enabling the replacement and upgrade of police vehicles to enhance operational efficiency, officer safety, and the overall quality of service provided to Miami Springs residents. This investment ensures that our officers are equipped with reliable, up-to-date resources necessary to effectively serve and protect our community.
