The GFWC Miami Springs Woman’s Club, in partnership with the Miami Springs Police Department (MSPD), has officially kicked off its highly anticipated annual “Jail & Bail for Charity” 2026 fundraising campaign!
In this lighthearted, community-wide event, prominent Miami Springs leaders, business owners, and local legends are playfully “arrested” by our police department. Their “crimes”? Being positive forces, inspiring wellness, and doing outstanding deeds for the community. The “jailbirds” are booked, photographed with their “mugshots,” and held in Cell Block Five until they can raise their assigned “bail” from friends, family, and local supporters.
Where Do the Donations Go?
Every single dollar raised from the “bail” goes directly to support the GFWC Miami Springs Woman’s Club’s local civic programs and student scholarships. A major portion of the proceeds is specifically dedicated to pediatric cancer research and patient support, benefiting two outstanding organizations:
- The SebastianStrong Foundation (funding less toxic childhood cancer treatments)
- The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation (funding pediatric brain cancer research)
Following the incredible success of past campaigns, which raised over $20,000 in the inaugural run and over $11,000 in the second annual campaign, the community is rallying once again to make a massive impact.
