The new 2019 – 2021 Miami Springs City Council will look just like the current Miami Springs City Council. Each member of the current City Council submitted paperwork to run for re-election for the same position they currently hold. Not one resident submitted paperwork to run for council or mayor. Thus the current City Council will automatically retain their seat.
According to City of Miami Springs City Clerk, Erika Santamaria, “No one else signed up, all incumbents are unopposed.”Â
