In 2015 we warned you that the new Miami Springs pool was going to be much smaller than the grand olympic sized pool we had for over 50 years. We also informed you that much of the money was going into creating more buildings. In other words, more building space. Less pool space. Now you can see the construction of the new pool with your own eyes. Total construction cost: $5 MILLION.
The 2025 River Cities Festival was shorter, but blessed with great weather and a great crowd.
Live Music
The traditional three day festival was shortened to a two day affair. But it was still a lot of fun for all that attended.

Of course, the festival is anchored by the live musical performances by a variety of great artists.

Some stood to watch the performances. While other brought their portable chairs for a comfortable view from the Circle grounds.
And the family friendly crowd enjoyed everything from country music to classic rock.
Food and Drinks
As expected, the Festival brought in a variety of food vendors along with artists and vendors of various wares.
The crowd enjoyed a variety of drinks, treats, deep fried, and grilled options.
Kids’ World
The traditional kids rides were not present, but they still had a variety of bounce houses and mega slides to enjoy.

We loved the idea of an evening car show. It was far cooler to enjoy the cars with an evening breeze.

Your thoughts!
What did you think of this year’s River Cities Festival? Every Festival, no matter how good or bad, no matter how big or small, has always had critics. And that’s okay. It’s important to get feedback to improve and make things better. And while this year’s festival was truncated, next year’s festival promises to be an extraordinary event as the City of Miami Springs celebrates its 100 year anniversary.
If you would like to see the greatest festival ever, it’s important for you to get involved now. The festival is organized and run mostly by volunteers. It is truly a community effort and a reflection upon our community’s involvement.
Now’s the time to begin preparing and planning on participating in the 2026 River Cities Festival which promises to be the biggest, brightest, and most beautiful Festival we’ve ever had.
