On the morning of September 11, 2025, Miami Springs had beautiful blue skies just as we had 24 years ago. And on this morning, Chief Castillo gathered members of the Miami Springs Police Department for a brief prayer ceremony on Westward Drive commemorating the horrific attack that occurred on this tragic day, including the loss of so many first responders, as well as recognizing the bravery shown by so many on this fateful day.
