In a daring sequence of events, Kelvis Morales arrived at a residence in the 600 blk of East Drive in a stolen vehicle.
He was allegedly witnessed leaping over a fence, officers swiftly established a perimeter. The K-9 Unit arrived, inspecting the exterior and interior. During the search, Morales shattered a glass door, fleeing officers. In a daring move, he swam across the Okeechobee Canal into Hialeah, where Miami Springs Police Department officers apprehended him.
