COVID-19 has uprooted the economy and our way of life. Schools are closed and most people are working from home if they can. This cabin fever has led to the highest number I’ve ever seen of people enjoying the outdoors including walking, bicycling, running, skating, etc. through our beautiful Miami Springs streets.
We’re not sure who started this, but families have gotten together for a community bear hunt. If you’d like to participate, all you have to do is place a teddy bear in a window of your home. So when families go for car rides, bike rides, or walks during this “safer at home” period, the kids can hunt for bears.
