Witnesses spotted a gray mini-van circling a local construction site and alerted MSPD. Swift action led our investigations division and officers on the afternoon shift to track down the thieves who had taken off with a concrete saw.
Thanks to collaboration with the Aventura Police Department, all involved individuals were apprehended. The stolen saw was successfully recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
Bernard Williamson, Anthony Jordan & Billy Champion Arrested and Charged with:
- Burglary (Unoccupied)
- Grand Theft (3rd Degree)

NOTE: One of the apprehended individuals, Champion, had active warrants for armed robbery in Broward County and was wanted by the City of Miami for armed robbery and aggravated battery offenses. Champion faces additional charges.
