Dimitrius Morrow was stopped on July 12th, 2023, for driving against traffic.  That stop led to a startling discovery. According to the Miami Springs Police Department, a routine check exposed his status as a Habitual Traffic Offender, while a search revealed marijuana, MDMA, cocaine, and a firearm allegedly in his possession.

Morrow faces multiple charges, including drug possession with intent to distribute and illegal firearm possession. These charges carry severe penalties.

Arrested and Charged with:

  1. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
  2. Cocaine possession with intent to sell
  3. Possession of Alprazolam (XANAX)
  4. Marijuana possession with intent to sell
  5. Marijuana possession > 20 grams
  6. Driving with a suspended license
  7. Possession of MDMA
  8. Possession of drug paraphernalia

Morrow’s traffic violation resulted in his arrest. The officer allegedly found marijuana-filled cigarettes, a Glock 26 handgun, drug paraphernalia, and various drugs, including MDMA and cocaine, in his vehicle. According to MSPD, Morrow claimed ownership of the narcotics but denied possessing the gun.
