United States Senator, Rick Scott, visited Miami Springs last week and met with Miami Springs Mayor Maria Mitchell. The visit occurred at La Casa Nicaragua restaurant located on North Royal Poinciana Boulevard.
U.S. Senators are elected every six years. And as you might have guessed, Senator Scott is running for reelection this fall.
It would be nice if we could get some federal funding to assist with the war memorial and 100 year centennial. We’ll see.
