Video shows a dangerous accident that occurred last week along NW 36th Street and Sheridan Drive. According to the Miami Springs Police Department, a vehicle driving westbound on NW 36th Street allegedly runs through through the red light. The light had been red for eleven seconds according to MSPD. That’s when a vehicle heading southbound along Sheridan strikes the westbound vehicle.
Neither vehicle appeared to be speeding. Nevertheless, the impact caused the westbound vehicle to rollover. Furthermore, it appears one of the occupants of the rollover vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle heading southbound seemed to be okay. Unfortunately, the ejected occupant did suffer injuries to an arm and a leg and was transported to a local hospital.
