The Miami Springs Police Department announced the arrest of Tyreek Louis Clark on Friday, July 17th. According to Miami Springs Police, officers responded to a robbery call at the Miami Springs Inn located at 661 East Drive.
According to MSPD, an individual was discussing the potential sale of an 18k gold Cuban chain with the suspect. The victim allowed the suspect to hold the chain, but when asked to give it back, the suspect allegedly fled on foot with the jewelry.
The victim is alleged to have pursued the suspect in an attempt to recover the stolen jewelry. The suspect is then alleged to have threatened the victim while reaching into a black bag and stating, “Back up before i shoot you. There’s no cameras here.”
That’s when the victim reportedly backed away and called 911.
The good news is that within just a few hours, the Miami Springs Police Department was able to identify, locate, and take the subject into custody.
Tyreek Louis Clark was charged with Robbery with a Firearm.
